funny enough, not really that far off it is
the translated versions of the Latin
words for which a.m. and p.m.
Actually AM AND PM stand for:
It turns out, a.m. stands for “ante
meridiem”, which is Latin for “Before
Midday”; p.m. stands for “Post
Meridiem”, which is Latin for “After
Midday”.
Interestingly, this finally clears up
for me one of the interesting quirks
of the 12 hour clock system where
time counts from 12 a.m. to 1 a.m.
and likewise goes from 11 a.m. to 12
p.m., which always seemed odd, but
now makes perfect sense given what
a.m. and p.m. stand for.

बादलों की मेहरबानी से जून में
ही मानसून में होने वाली बारिश का 38
फीसदी कोटा बुधवार को पूरा हो गया।
सुबह ८:३क् से रात ११:३क् बजे तक
८.९२ सेमी पानी गिरा। इसके चलते जून
में अब तक राजधानी में ४१.४८
सेमी बारिश हो चुकी है। यह जून
की औसत बारिश १४.४ सेमी से तीन
गुना ज्यादा है। मौसम केंद्र में उपलब्ध
रिकॉर्ड के मुताबिक जून में पहली बार
इतनी बारिश दर्ज की गई है। 75 साल
पहले जून १९३८ में रिकॉर्ड ३९.३२
सेमी बारिश हुई थी। भोपाल में मानसून
में औसत बारिश १क्९ सेमी होती है।
दो दिन और बारिश : मौसम केंद्र के
मुताबिक पूरे प्रदेश में अगले दो दिनों में
अच्छी बारिश होने की संभावना है।
जबलपुर, होशंगाबाद, भोपाल और इंदौर
संभाग में कहीं-कहीं भारी बारिश
हो सकती है। तीन दिन में ही २४.4७
सेमी जून में अब तक जितनी बारिश हुई
है, उसमें से ६क् फीसदी बारिश
तो पिछले तीन दिनों में ही हुई है। मौसम
केंद्र के मुताबिक सोमवार से बुधवार
तक २४.4७ सेमी पानी गिरा है,
जबकि इससे पहले जून के २३ दिनों में
१७.क्१ सेमी ही बारिश हुई थी। तीन
दिन में बारिशसोमवार - ४ सेमीमंगलवार
- ११.५५ सेमीबुधवार - ८.९२
सेमी फ्लाइट डाइवर्टजबलपुर में खराब
मौसम की वजह से बुधवार सुबह
11:30 बजे दिल्ली से आ रही एयर
इंडिया की फ्लाइट को डाइवर्ट कर
भोपाल उतारना पड़ा। बाढ़ में छह
बहेभास्कर न्यूजत्नभोपालप्रदेश के
अनेक स्थानों पर मूसलाधार बारिश होने
से नर्मदा, ताप्ती, बेतवा एवं अन्य
छोटे नदी-नाले उफान पर हैं। सीहोर
की सीवन नदी की बाढ़ में दो युवक
और एक बच्चा बह गया। उज्जैन में
दो और बैतूल में एक व्यक्ति के बहने
की भी खबर है। कई स्थानों पर सड़क
मार्ग बंद हैं। प्रदेश में सबसे
ज्यादा बारिश सीहोर जिले के इछावर में
23 सेमी रिकॉर्ड की गई। कई रास्ते
बंदञ्चरायसेन जिले में बरेली कस्बे के
पास जयपुर-जबलपुर राष्ट्रीय
राजमार्ग बाधित हो गया है।
ञ्चहोशंगाबाद के पास बेतवा नदी के
पुल पर भी दो फीट पानी बह रहा है
जिससे पर्वतीय स्थल
पचमढ़ी का मार्ग अवरुद्ध हो गया है।
ञ्चविदिशा जिले में गंजबासौदा, खुरई
आदि कई इलाकों का सड़क संपर्क टूट
गया है। ञ्चदमोह के अभाना के पास
पुलिया डूब जाने से दमोह-जबलपुर
मार्ग बंद है। भोपालत्नदो महीने पहले
मुख्यमंत्री शिवराज सिंह चौहान ने
राजधानी के जिस 52 किमी लंबे नए
बायपास का लोकार्पण किया था, वह
पहली बारिश भी नहीं झेल पाया। इंदौर
रोड खजूरी से मुबारकपुर चौराहे तक
13 किमी के हिस्से में सड़क मंगलवार-
बुधवार की दरमियानी रात चार
स्थानों पर धंस गई। इसमें करीब दो से
तीन फीट गहरे गड्ढे हो गए। इसके
चलते इसमें करीब दो दर्जन से
ज्यादा वाहन दुर्घटनाग्रस्त हो गए।
करीब पांच लोग घायल हुए हैं।
प्रत्यक्षदर्शियों के मुताबिक मंगलवार
रात 10 बजे खजूरी सड़क के पास
आयशर पेट्रोल पंप स्थित एक पुल के
दोनों ओर सड़क धंस गई। इससे यहां से
गुजर रहे ट्रक और एक वैन आपस में
टकरा गए। एक्सपर्ट व्यूरोड
मेटेरियल ठीक हो तो सड़क
नहीं धंसती पीडब्ल्यूडी के पूर्व मुख्य
अभियंता बीके सोनगरिया ने कहा-
यदि पहली बारिश में सड़क धंसी है
तो निश्चित तौर पर गुणवत्ता से
समझौता किया गया है।
पहली या दूसरी कभी भी बारिश हो,
लेकिन यदि रोड मेटेरियल ठीक
डाला गया हो तो सड़क
कभी नहीं धंसती। बड़े तालाब
का जलस्तर जून में पहली बार 1662
फीट मानसून की मेहरबानी और पिछले
दो दिनों से हो रही झमाझम बारिश के
चलते पहली बार जून में बड़े तालाब
का जलस्तर 1662.क्क् फीट के
रिकॉर्ड स्तर तक पहुंच गया है। नगर
निगम के मुताबिक वर्ष 1965 के बाद
जून में यह सबसे ज्यादा जलस्तर है।
इसकी वजह इस बार मानसून
का जल्दी आना और अच्छी बारिश
होना रहा है। इसके अलावा मौजूदा साल
में तालाब से पेयजल के लिए कम
पानी लेना है।बुधवार को महज एक
ही दिन में २.२५ फीट की बढ़ोतरी हुई।
अब यह अपने फुल टैंक लेवल
1666.80 से महज 4.८0 फीट कम
है। मंगलवार को बड़े तालाब
का जलस्तर अब 1659.75 था। निगम
के अधिकारियों का कहना है
कि यदि बारिश
का ऐसा ही सिलसिला जारी रहा तो जल्द
ही भदभदा के गेट खुल सकते हैं।
इसलिए बनी ये स्थितिमानसून
की मेहरबानीइस बार मानसून तय समय
से पहले आया है और अब तक रिकॉर्ड
तोड़ बारिश हो चुकी है। इसी वजह से
जलस्तर में इतनी बढ़ोतरी हुई है।
नर्मदा ने भी दिया सहारा पहले बड़े
तालाब से रोजाना 28
एमजीडी पानी सप्लाई होता था। पिछले
साल से नर्मदा जल सप्लाई होने से बड़े
तालाब पर निर्भरता कम हुई और अब
सिर्फ 18
एमजीडी पानी ही लिया जाता है। पहले
से ही थी अच्छी स्थिति इस साल 17
जून को बड़े तालाब का जलस्तर
1659.60 फीट था। पिछले 48
सालों में सिर्फ दो बार जून में तालाब
का जलस्तर इस आंकड़े के करीब
पहुंचा है। पिछले साल था फुल
टैंकपिछले साल बारिश के दौरान
भदभदा डेम के गेट कई बार खोले गए।
बड़ा तालाब फुल टैंक लेवल तक पहुंच
गया था। इस वजह से भी तालाब
का जलस्तर ज्यादा कम नहीं हो पाया।
भदभदा के गेट खोलने के लिए
तैयारी नगर निगम ने बारिश
की स्थिति को देखते हुए भदभदा डेम के
गेट खोलने के लिए तैयारियां शुरू कर
दी हैं। बुधवार को यहां गेटों का मेंटेनेंस
किया गया। कोलार डेम का जलस्तर
भी बढ़ाकोलार डेम के जलस्तर में एक
दिन में 1.86 मीटर की बढ़ोतरी हुई है।
मंगलवार को यह 446.77 मीटर था,
जबकि बुधवार को यह 448.63 मीटर
हो गया।

So dont select 'Consider Auto
upgradation'. You are eligible for
Auto upgradation by default.
The fact is, selecting 'Consider
auto upgradtion' is not considering
your ticket for upgradation.

modified their site or changed the
info in the screen. Now it tells
correctly.
